What happened to DL4405 LAX

PAX deplaned and hotelling overnight. No explanation other than "technical issue " given but PAX report hole in top of one of the engines apparently? Looks to me like it hit something as opposed to something non contained.

Updated info... PAX had boarded and then were deplaned. Appears whatever it is happened either inbound and wasn't noticed or happened on the ground during boarding... Gate maybe?

I actually thought to to myself never knew delta ran RR engines transatlantic.. but the paint colour actually went completely over my head. it was 6am . thats my story and im sticking to it.

No one there seems any the wiser what actually happened though
