What happened to DL4405 LAX
PAX deplaned and hotelling overnight. No explanation other than "technical issue " given but PAX report hole in top of one of the engines apparently? Looks to me like it hit something as opposed to something non contained.

Updated info... PAX had boarded and then were deplaned. Appears whatever it is happened either inbound and wasn't noticed or happened on the ground during boarding... Gate maybe?

If anyone is wondering why Delta have suddenly started painting their engines red, it's actually a Virgin Atlantic A35K ...

Well, in your defense, at least you didn't call it a Boeing DC-10 Superjumbo Airbus.
No one there seems any the wiser what actually happened though :( |
Looks like unwanted contact with an airbridge to me.

DL4405 is the DL code share flight number for VS24 LAX-LHR in case anyone is wondering
|
Oddly enough my son flew on that plane to Bridgetown on Sunday!
