Saw some info on an acft in distress as subject matter. Anyone heard any more?

Don't know if 9J recycles reg's, but 9J-MJS was, until 1984, a CoAT Baron G-AWAE.

What it's doing in India, if accurate, remains to be seen.

Can you be more specific, where was the report from? Was it a registration derived from a Mode S transponder code, if so what code? More than likely a mis-coded transponder on an aircraft rather than it being the registration you quote which is/was still registered as a Beech Baron.
