Whatever happened to the Honda Jet ? A few years ago it was looking like a shoe-in to the light jet market backed by the Japanese behemoth and yet…..not too much has happened it would seem.

Funny little beastie.

Due to visit a few more UK / Ireland locations ( rumoured Dublin - Belfast ) and then back to the Continent for a tour of Benelux and Germany.

There's a video on the right side, near top that talks about Church Fenton's ambitions with commercial flights and the Honda Jet is in a few shots, although only partially.

The HondaJet has gotten provisional FAA certification as of now, so the full cert is imminent. It's fast for it's class, it's price competitive (about the same as a PC12) and has quite a bit of innovation. I happen to think it looks good too.

There's a good article about chief engineer Michimasa Fujino's 29-year struggle to convince the Honda board to build it, which they finally agreed to do. I hope it does well just for him. He deserves it.

Good luck to them. If their cars are anything to go by, am sure it will do very well.
