The Spanair crash from 2008 was covered in this week's episode and the cause of the crash was the fact that the flaps had not been deployed - something that I just didn't think was possible, especially considering that checklists had been improved following a similar crash.


It also highlighted just how much pressure gets piled on pilots to avoid delays.
