Manchester Airport Viewing park moving?

I have heard a few rumours recently that due to development at MAN the viewing park is either moving or closing.
Does anyone have any info on this?

As the Airport has just completed major improvements to the Car Park at the Viewing Park it is extremely unlikely that they will relocate the facility in the near future.
Although there were rumours that the RVP would move to the South Side to accommodate additional aircraft stands, the fact that traffic levels are still below those achieved in 2007 would suggest that there is no requirement for the land as things stand.

Aviation viewing park

There is in my opinion they could. Not move

There would be much costs involved. In moving the aircraft and it would mean building a new hangar for theConcorde. As I understand one of the conditions on which they obtained the Concorde was that it would be hangered and not lefoutside. Like so many have

I thing this is an ill founded rumour. Hopefully

Regards

Would have to be a heck of a strong hangar to hold Concorde!

It`s not a rumour as there were plans to move the rvp to southside near
fire station but I don`t know if they are continueing with that or what the time scale was but i doubt it was in next 5yrs or so
