LH & FRF.

I see on Av Herald Incident: Lufthansa A388 at Miami on May 15th 2014, landed below final fuel reserve that a LH A388 landed less than final reserve fuel in MIA. 3 tons? Thats fumes and a very very serious incident.

Similar to the FR incident where weather was the major factor for driving these events.

I believe the only alternate for the 380 in Florida is KMCO. Lots of CBs there too lately.

Would those 3 tons of fuel have given it the ability to do a normal missed approach/go-around in the weather conditions ? That's a big aircraft and that's not much of a margin for error
