Spitfire - Crash at East Midlands?

Via FlightRadar24 Twitterfeed I read about a crash of a Spitfire at East Midlands Airport.

Can anyone confirm that?

Breaking news

The runway at East Midlands Airport has closed after a Spitfire's undercarriage collapsed as it was coming in to land.
The pilot has not been seriously injured but the runway has been closed while debris is cleared away, a spokesperson said.

Flights to East Midlands Airport are currently being diverted to Birmingham. It is not yet known how long the runway will be closed for.

E**** C*****, from Hartshorne in Derbyshire, who was plane-spotting at the airport at about 15:30 GMT, said: "I was just looking at the planes coming in when all of a sudden there were loads of blue lights coming in from the other end of the runway.
"That's when I saw the plane in the middle of the runway. I could hear on the radio that there was only one person on board and he was fine
."
Wasn't doing much spotting then, was he?
