I like the sentence in the article "Edinburgh Airport said it was working with Jet2 to avoid a repeat of the incident".

Bet they are Part of their revised SMS will no doubt be to ensure the structural integrity of all bus shelters after to a strong wind warning...

Anyone know whether the flying shelter was landside and hopped the fence or whether it was an airside structure?

Stand by for knee jerk reaction from the CAA mandating that all bus stop shelters near airports be equipped with TCAS.

So ... "Edinburgh Airport said it was working with Jet2 to avoid a repeat of the incident". but NOT working with any of their other carriers?? How many spare bus shelters have they got on hand?? That high wind is also going to blow this into JetBlast.

So what did the other one hit?

You know what it's like.

You wait for ages for one and then two come along together.

Reassuring to read that the Airport "have now launched an investigation".

The investigator will need to be particularly sharp to get to the bottom of this mystery.

Always the way - you wait forever for a bus shelter to come by, and then half of one comes all at once!

I just hope with all that rain the bus shelter didn't have more than 100ml of water on it when it 'went airside' !

Ah yes, they launched the Inspector on the second 99 MPH gust and he made a reasonable altitude, although the landing could have been better ...
