Lots going on....
I'm not naive in posting this, just highlighting that there is suddenly a lot of low-level night work going on with the RAF Chinooks. They are nightly flying very low level exercises along the southern low level route, and probably in other places. There are other Special Ops machine around, such as V-22s...... I guess they might be heading to sunnier climes? RR

2 = 2 =?????
I hear that the Osprey deployment to Mildenhall had been planned for some time, and that they may eventually stay there. Rumours are that one of the old special ops units will be reactivated to manage them.
As always, thos who know say nothing, whilst those who don't.......

How do you know it's 'Special Ops'? Osprey certainly doesn't only get used for that, it's one of the main flying buses out there now and night flying is a normal practice on Herrick, particularly for the MERT Chinooks that pick up casualties.
