DPS Runway
I have just seen this.
The length of the runway for what should be a modern state-of-the-art airport also calls into question the judgment of the project's planners. At 1,750 meters long, the Lombok runway will mirrors Bali much-criticized Ngurah Rai Airport which is deemed too short to handle fully-loaded and fully-fueled wide body long-haul international flights”.
I have used Ngurah Rai many times and hopefully will do many times in future. Should I though avoid Cathy Pacific or Korean as they use 747/777’s, are usually full and need quite a lot of fuel to reach their destinations.

DPS is longer than that ...
I don't have access to Jepp plates at the moment but World Aero Data shows DPS 09/27 as being 2984 x 45 m (9790 x 148 ft) ..... definetly long enough.
