Last 747 for JAL

Japan Airlines, once the largest operator of the 747s - and the only one to have ordered over 100 of the type - operated its last service with the type today.

The airline has been operating the 747 for forty years, JA8101 having been delivered in March 1970.

Spent many an hour in the afternoon at LHR waiting for the 747 to pass through never did see them all...A sad day
