Oxford Airport UK..Traffic Survey?
Hello,
Dose anyone know who flies a C172 (I think) out of Oxford, most evenings on a traffic survey? I have heard it on the radio but did not catch the reg! I have a few photos of it taking off and landing. Just curious!

It looks as if it's one of the C172s operated by Global Travel Network to carry Jack FM's aerial traffic reporter: G-UFCF or G-UFCH.
Was mentioned in recent Oxford Mail due to laser moron activity...
More planes affected by laser louts (From Oxford Mail)

Hi Tupperware Pilot
goldox is correct - our 172SP G-UFCF is based at Oxford. We have another 172SP based at Plymouth Airport for our broadcasts on Pirate FM (Cornish local radio station).
The Oxford 172 is used for our traffic broadcasts on Jack FM (Oxford), Reading 107 (Reading) and Eagle 96.4 (Surrey and Hampshire).
Neal is our regular airborne presenter. When he's not doing it you'll hear me on-air from the aeroplane (if I'm not flying it).
Cheers
Adam

We use helicopters for traffic reporting on stations in the U.S and Australia but as silverelise suggested it's not really commercially viable to use them over here.
The 172SP is perfect for what we do despite being rather cramped once it's full up with a pilot, reporter and airborne kit.
