I know it is nearing as am tasked with putting up colleagues from around the world for the week.

farnborough? loads of people will be there. it's certainly worthwhile going, depending on what you want to see. there is a list of all aircraft participating on their site.
try getting yourself to RIAT. far and away a much better show.
