First flight: Kawasaki XC-2

Well it took them a little time (sound's familiar doesn't it?) but finally here it is:
The XC-2 twinjet from Japan had it's first flight today. Bit looking like a "C-8.5". Around 60 are needed for the JSDF.

Nice airplane.

I bet it was expensive to develop, though.

Hopefully no problems with it unlike the A400M.

Would you like a seat by the front of the engine . . . or perhaps, the rear of the engine?

Looks like a Kawasaki C-1, which first flew thirty-eight years ago..and a bit like the McDonnell Douglas YC-15 minus two engines..

Well someone has to say it, let it be me ... doesn't the C-17 look a lot like a bigger version of the Kawasaki C-1 with 2 more engines?
