Midway down rwy 24 along a line from ATC to the hangar on the north side, they put some form of tank track or gravel under the grass it goes from the south edge of the rwy to in front of the twr, in the summer the clay was like contrete anyway, the aircraft were cleared for taxying on the grass the only limitation was no use of reverse thrust.
