Swift, silent and serene in Cheltenham

A walk through bright, beautiful and sunny Pitville Park at 13.00 hrs today was made even more enjoyable by the sight and sound of a VC10 passing slowly from East to West at what seemed to me to be only around 2,000'.

My thanks to those responsible for this delight!

It's all relative. In the 60s. compared to the competition - it was quiet.

These days - bejesus!

All those adverts concerned "silent" on the inside - not the outside.
