Do you think there's ever such a slight chance it might be the LGW-TPA flight thats diverted into SNN and is now continuing on it's way?

According to BA that's what happened. Took off from SNN at 1806, now due in TPA at 2109.

Wink

I have just done a little snooping (I take this flight a couple times a year to see friends so was curious).. and have the following.

The BA website updated a couple of minutes ago with this departure information:

BA2167 LGW SNN 14 MAY 12:20 14 MAY 12:19 Actual
BA2167 SNN TPA 14 MAY 18:06 14 MAY 18:06 Actual
Flgihtstats is showing two segments!!

the first is the LGW/TPA flight

Flight: (BA) British Airways 2167
Departure Date: Thu May 14, 2009
Status: Flight is Currently En Route On-time
the second is a SNN/LGW flight

Flight: (BA) British Airways 2167
Departure Date: Thu May 14, 2009
Status: Flight is Currently En Route
Last change to status 55 minutes ago
Arrival Estimate: Estimated Gate Arrival at 8:04 PM
so... it would seem that the aircraft did arrive at SNN and is either on her way to Florida or is coming back to Gatwick!!

It appears the aircraft involved is G-VIIO.

It's a bloody diversion! It really is NOT a big deal. It happens every so often!
