All great stuff.

The way is now clear for a copy of the TSR2 print to appear on PPRuNe so you can preview it (unsigned at the moment of course). I'll upload the graphic on Friday when I'm back in the office next.

Well done to IFR and his little band of helpers and contributors.

Here is some great news, especially for the collectors of rich signed photographs.

I met with our own John Farley today! Yes, he of Sea Harrier fame - of any Harrier, and an avid PPRuNer. John organised some superb pictures of the Harrier, Sea Harrier and even the Hawk trainer from BAe where he was Chief Test Pilot for many years. I collected them from him today. We had a fine lunch and exchanged experiences and our life in aviation. My own seems positively tame compared to his but he is a charming man and we had a little in common, in that each knew a good few mutual friends.

Well, these pictures are large prints in very fine detail and John has signed them all. One in particular will hopefully be signed by someone else of distinction. That was John's idea.

However, I have to tell you that the fund WILL benefit a great deal from these when they go to auction - mostly because people will not be able to resist them. I promise you! In that regard, I will try and arrange that a reduced size is available on this page and we might try to do an PPRuNe internet auction. Can't see why not. I'll get that under way.

That leaves me to publicy thank John, which I do with much appreciation. Most kind of you sir.

Over to you guys and girls.

Oh bugger. I'm just about managed to persuade Pat that I need a picture of a TSR-2 signed by Roland Bearmont. Now I've got to talk her into letting me buy a signed print of a Harrier.

Thank you very much indeed, IFR and Mr. Farley

IFR,

Your enthusiasm for this project is an inspiration For someone in retirement you certainly are busy.

The generosity of people is also quite amazing, I just have to convince Mrs Flypuppy that Esmee needs a picture of a TSR-2 in her nursery......

JollyGG you are pulling my leg aren't you? Where have you been?

Look on Aircrew - THIS forum - and you will see the PPRuNe Fund. Please, do get around the forums. They are very revealing!!!

I don't have that much time to do what I want on the net, my only acces is in work and my boss does not believe (correctly) that this forum has anything to do with what he is paying me for so access is limited to when I can get away with it.

Whenever I have time I tend to go staight to the wannabees forum, but in future I will broaden my horizons.
