Why we do it
Wry comment from the Coverntry Aeroplance Newsletter, lifted by Pilot mag:
"The complusion that we all have experienced to fly as pilots-in-command, regardless of cost, weather, work, and all other demands on our time and energies... (is) quite out of balance with the rest of our fellow men. Indeed, if sexual beahviour were to mirror our craving to fly, we would scarcely be in our small clothes at all, even in the brief intervals between prison sentences."
