Sad news indeed.Heavylift looked at the books and needed 15 years to pay off the debts, ouch!
The silver lining indeed for the folks on the bus is there are several operators recruiting in the U.K.I noticed todays banner for A300 guys and girls,Hilary will be busy!!!give us a light.

The problem with Transaer wasnt just what has been stated, management were to blame for mindless decisions and lack of fluidity in important areas of the operation.
At the end of the day if they had contracts coming up,the cash flow would have been in place.
People were put in positions of control when they had no experience and no man management skills.
Transaer had some of the best crew/Eng and ground staff you would ever want to work or socialise with.
I wish them all good luck in finding work.

All I can say is that we have had sooooo much fun the last few days and nights in typical good ol TransAer style, everyone has stuck together and are in good spirits. The partys have been completely later nuts. There will never propably be another airline like TLA our with such professional dedicated hard working people.Aidios muchachos.
