Gatwick diversions

I notice lots of flights have started diverting from Gatwick. Due snow i guess.... all 2cms of it. Must be the wrong type of snow!!!

I live near Gatwick and we have about 2-3 inches snow here. It's been arriving in heavy bursts, spaced a few hours apart. I imagine a runway is a large area to clear, and they'll have had to do it several times.

Still snowing...

this snow seems to be patchy-i live near LGW and we have had 1-1.5 ins of snow here.
