More delays to Boeing aircraft

I see Boeing have just announced substancial delays to their 748-8 program, when added to their ongoing problems with the 787 dreamliner, there must be a lot of angst over in Seattle.

You forgot to mention the problems that they also have with the B737s as well, not doing too good at moment.

I don't think anyone believes the 748-8i pax will ever be delivered. Not even the "launch customer" Lufthansa. Dead as a dodo.

So far no exact new delivery date has been announced. Suggestions for a later delivery appointment are now being discussed with Boeing. Lufthansa holds on to the ordering of 20 B747-8,” says a spokeswoman for the German flag carrier.

At least Lufthansa still seems committed to the 747-8I.
