Unusual LHR Departure

An unusual twin prop has just flown over my house. Looked like it was on a Southampton departure from LHR. I only caught a glimpse of it looked like it was high wing, low tail plane, a bit like a provider.Anybody know what it was.
Cheers

I've seen a few photos of the Greek Airforce bringing props into LHR over the past year or so. Any reason why they've been doing that?

Interesting, they can allow that prop in but not a DC6..

I was thinking the same Captain, like you say there have been a few HAF props in LHR in the last year.Last week there was also a Gulfstream 5, why is it that they use LHR and not Northolt?.

Saw this HAF C130 at LHR last year wearing a pretty natty paint scheme

I dont know why they used LHR neither. Strange.
Nice photo of the hercules!

Anyone know what that A330-200 was that came in today? It was all white apart from what looked like a gold band around the fuselage?

Not really sure why these Greek aircraft visit LHR instead on Northolt but when they do they normally have an ambulance awaiting their arrival? So I would assume that these visits are some sort of medivac flights. Here is a photo of 4121 which visited on 24/6 (there of more photos of the visit at S.E. Aviation Photos - 4121, Greek Air Force C27J. 24/6/08

So much for being environmentally friendly. Another world indeed.

Rampvan, nice photo! I didnt see it before. I guess it must be a medivac flight but I still thought Northolt would of been more appropriate?
