Sorry if this is off topic, but I was just looking at the easyJet website and on the destinations map, the new STN - Madeira (Funchal) route, the island is placed in the top left corner, close to Iceland. Strange lol.

I was wondering if anyone could help me.

Ive never been to Stansted before, and I have a 5 hour wait between when I arrive and when my flight checks in. I was wondering if there is a viewing area within the terminal building, that I could go to, or anything such like, that I could do while I wait.

Thanks a lot

Staying within the airport itself landside there are not a great deal of areas ideal for spotting. Inside the terminal close to domestic arrivals there are views of the apron and mainly of Sat 1 and part of Sat 2. This is a better area to be watching as Sat 3 is all Ryanair and once you have seen 10 FR jets it gets boring. From the domestic arrivals area you will see the usual airlines such as Eos Airlines, Maxjet, easyJet the several charters, CSA, Germanwings, El Al depending on what time you are there and many more. If you also walk out of the terminal you can get better views of the same area. Unfortunately there is no dedicated viewing area.

Corporate 767's at Stansted

Hi

Just wondering if anyone knew anything about the Corporate 767's that were parked outside Air Harrod's on Thursday and today (Monday)?

Thursday it was nose in towards the hangar but looked all white with a gold & dark blue swoosh up the tail.

Today, all white with a gold pinstripe along the body, the tail was all blue with something gold in the middle?

Many Thanks
