Monarch Boeing 787 Order

Good to see that Monarch have ordered the B787's; wonder what will happen to the B757's? Also, why have they got a single B767? Anyway, I heard a rumour that Monarch are going to be operating some ex-Varig MD11 until the new Boeings arrive.

Is there anything in this rumour?

Just cos the operate a single 767 doesnt translate to mean that they intend on getting a bundle of MD11's. Monarch seem happy with their A300's and A330's at the moment!

Monarch - A300

The MD of Monarch Scheduled described the A300 recently as a 'cash cow' and said he wished they had more in their fleet. He was, of course, speaking from a business point of view.

Nevermind the fact that they are falling apart, going tech all the time, screwing up the schedule and causing numerous delays, ruining the airlines reputation with those pax and their social circle.....

Fantastic 'cash cow' Mr Brown........

Mr Brown is not the MD of Monarch Scheduled.

Since when has anyone(certainly at management level) in the aviation business given a rats testicle about reputation.

For what it's worth, I think ZB have a very good reputation out of MAN.
