Flight following on-line

My son is flying from Gatwick to Verona on BA2598 this afternoon, and I have heard that there are websites where it is possible to follow the position in flight in real time. Can anyone advise me?

As far as I know, none of them will track the aircraft through French airspace due to French restrictions, so you will not see much.
