A couple of random questions

On my travels I,ve see a couple of things I,m curious about and wonder if there is anybody out there that can help. In Las Vegas I saw what I think was a Globemaster being used as a bar/restaraunt I think it was near the hardrock hotel is it still there? I think it was also used in newspaper ads for marlborough cigarettes. Was at a USAF base near San Antonio once and saw what looked like a 1950s attempt at an A380 double pax deck aircraft it only had half its wings and was look very sad indeed. thank you all for any help you can give

Maybe it was the XC-99 you saw:

This was a one-off pax/transport variant of the B-36 (six piston engine pusher, plus 2 jet engines, bomber used by the USAAF in the 50's).

The Convair Model 37 was the civil version, but never flew. Looks impressive, though! Over 200 pax and the first double decker!

It was a Globemaster at Las Vegas - fairly close to the airport as I recall and a blue scheme. Sadly it is no more, it was scrapped sometime after 2000 when I saw it parked there looking fairly tatty.
