I noticed that Boeing have just delivered the 5,000 th 737.

http://www.boeing.com/news/releases/...60213b_nr.html

I am sure that FR is just about to have number 100 delivered. Can anyone confirm/deny??

Post might

according to ryanair the answer is no

Whilst we can tolerate a link to the Boeing website, a link to Ryanair's is too 'commercial' to accept. Anyone who is really interested should be able to find it.

But not sure how up to date this is.

Regards
Craig

No it doesn't. The first four in the list are -200's It's 99 B738-8AS. EI-DLH should be the 100th and should be the next to deliver

FR winglet/airstairs combo?

Having flown with on to legs with FR recently from CORK to DUB and LBA to DUB I am wondering why the wingletted-8AS' dont seem to use the inbuilt airstairs? Seems a very un-Ryanair-ish policy. It is noteworthy that all a/c were older versions, both in the EI-CXX range of reg, and all still with cloth interiors and old colors. I have never seen FR not use the inbuilt stairs before, and the a/c had the sirstairs slot. I dont think Boeing puts that in unless theres a stairs actually fitted, whats the story?

Can anyone shed any light?

Cannot comment really other than I flew out to OPO and back in January.
Out on CSX back on CSO, both with winglets. Airstairs were used on both flights.

Some of the older -800's are to be sold though soon (presumably EICSA onwards) to keep the average age of the fleet down
