Following on from the recent thread about an IL76 at Heathrow...

Due out tomorrow sometime, operating an aid flight to Asia

Also present were fellow Ruskies An12 UR-SMA & An26 YL-RAB (and also an Emirates B747-400F)

MKDC8 - from what I read elsewhere in the press (so I may be wrong), the Sheik was doing his bit for the aid operation and helping the UK Govt who also have aid stores in Dubai - hence the op via Dubai.

AZS IL76 RA76807 on a rotation to El fasher in Sudan, after todays run, going to Brindisi for WFP Islamabad mission via Baku with sister aircraft RA76532. Watch out for a Kalitta B747 though, we are going to drop one into EMA or Manston in the next few days. We also have a couple of DC8s floating around out of SHJ and DXB.

I did a trip (BJP - SZB) in the nav dome of another AZS IL76 - RA 76518 earlier this year, fantastic experience.
