saw concord at heathrow 16/5/05

Whilst leaving for the middle east and taxying out on to Runway 27L at LHR on the monday 16/5 i noticed concord on taxiway......does anyone know of its status ??? it looked from the distance like it was on a taxiway...any light would be helpful

Its there to stay as a mantle piece only....so dont expect it to roll an inch further!

As I roll past it I am always amazed how small it looks... could almost be mistaken for a scaled down model !

Yes, i noticed this on my flight out to LA three weeks ago.... caught it out the corner of my eye and felt like i'd seen a ghost!

I must say it makes my regular trips between LHR and MAN a little less tedious being able to see a Concorde at each end of the trip... The one at MAN lined up behind the flying school Pipers and Robins makes for a good picture.
