Panshanger Airfield - similar experiences?
Has anyone else had experiences like this at Panshanger? Seems like a place to avoid.

Panshanger airfield
Nothing would surprise me here. The owner is not known for his charm or his way in dealing with his staff. Indeed, Panshanger has one of the highest turnovers of flying instructors in the country.
Having said that, I am glad to have spent some time at Panshanger as an employee and the fact that they have been in business for over 10 years is testament to the level of enthusiasm shown by the general public.
The only thing that I can think of as to why they would have barked so offensively is because of the number of people unlike yourself who do not respect the signposting, indeed to 'have a go' at the boss, some have even taken to flying their kites 50 ft from the landing runway!!!!! Not just dangerous but very stupid -as I am sure you will agree.
