A Report released today, (canvassed on CH10 news, Aust.) of studies of U.S. and Australian companies, bags the managers running them.
"9 out of 10 Australian & U.S. organisations can do much better"... saying that "...alot of Managers are responsible for the negative culture that exists. ...being too focussed on spreadsheets, while not concentrating on the actual functioning and business of a company... resulting in dis-satisfied and under-achieving, unproductive employees."
It went on to mention how CEOs are rewarded for short term spikes in the share price, with bonuses.
...sound familiar in your neck of the woods?..?
(sorry the name of the report was missed as it flashed by)

No, I meant the U.K. government.
Very perceptive to pick up on my name, but it's just a play on my real name and my birthdate, OH and my wedding anniversary, and I spent a lot of time at Flugplatz Laarbruch.

Hey Chocks away,
Any idea where I can find this report, or who wrote it.
I've been feeling for a while that this industry might be more successful in a business sense if so much time and effort wasn't spent by management and workers fighting each other. If the effort that many airlines put into pay restructuring was was spent generating business, maybe restructuring wouldn't be necessary.
