Ratings agency Moody's Investor Services has issued its annual report on the Cayman Islands which has attributed the nation's Aa3 rating to its resilient tourist sector, high per capita income and prudent economic policy framework. Moody's noted the cooperative response of the Caymanian authorities with regard to US and EU concerns on money laundering through its offshore banking sector and the ratings agency also reported a similarly satisfactory result in response to the OECD initiatives on tax issues. The report also observed the Caribbean jurisdiction's strong and flexible regulatory framework, stable political system, favourable social indicators and an encouraging external debt situation.

THE SAFE HAVEN BOUNCE
Then, in addition, there's something the Wall Street
Journal refers to as the "Safe Haven Bounce." That
newspaper reports: "Worries about war and terrorism are
sparking a sudden spurt in the number of Americans buying
vacation homes in the Caribbean."
Sales activity in the Cayman Islands, for example, the
article reports, increased 62% in the first two months of
2003 compared with last... 32% in the Dominican Republic
last December and January.
Americans are looking for quiet getaways, where they can
escape the worries of war, terrorism, and uncertain
financial markets... peaceful retreats that are,
critically, close to home.

Direct flight to Cayman from Detroit

As promised our latest site is live, although a few days behind schedule. IPG Resort Air Services can be viewed at www.resortair.com. We hope our next site will be up just before Christmas and the facelift for our corporate sites will begin early in the new year.

Actually as stated this new IPG site www.destinationresortdevelopers.com was ready for Christmas, but was not uploaded until yesterday as we're all enjoying the Holiday Season, sans work. Lately we've been building most of our sites with Flash and this one is no exception so as usual best viewed with Macromedia Flashplayer 7.0.
With 10 websites now, shortly, we'll be launching a new IPG Corporate Directory site.........
