Medical and retirement age

Not sure if this is the right forum, moderators please move if necessary!

I havent got a copy of Lasors close by but I vaguely remember something about you can only get a JAR class 1 medical up until your 65, if that is the case and the government retirement age is increased to 68, maybe even 70 by the time I reach that age, will I have to go work in a Tesco's for the last 5 years of my working life to get my state pension?
