He could easily have been in debt $150,000 to $200,000 USD, and every month the interest compounds.
For an average Filipino, that is an absolutely earth shattering sum of money. A "good" job in Manila pays around $500 a month to give you some perspective. |
Guys, before calling me names and letting all your frustrations out on me: i have never said that people with psychological issues shouldn't seek help nor that they don't belong to a flightdeck once they have dealt with their issues after seeking professional help. I just simply said that people with current suicidal tendencies shouldn't be allowed near an aircraft. Period. Or none of you care about the mental state of your fellow colleagues here or the crew when your loved ones flying in the back?! That would be insane now, wouldn't it?

The terms are, transfer us 22.000 USD, and you got the job.
At least that’s what was offered to me couple days ago. |
That's a strange way to operate, you give us a load of money and we'll employ you. Mind you I guess this practice crept in years ago with pay to fly etc.
