I am going to be totally off topic. Forgive me. But, how do I even apply when the interview call is not posted online or in the news papers? I hear there s one interview pretty soon. But, still not able to find out how to apply.
|
Do any one know when r they gonna start the training ...or wat will be the training ..or where will be the training..
|
this goes out to most of the pilots who got into Spicejet recently- what sort of contacts/ministers did you get in touch with to get a job with this airline. seriously!
now don't give me this BS - "how dare you, I got my job purely on merit and i never used an influential person to push for my job". yesterday, I was totally blown away when a mid-level spicejet employee asked me why I sat for the written exam in Jan 2012 when i didn't know anyone at the top or any politician for that matter. what a  up airline....i doubt if 60% of those pilots working in spicejet have got in on merit basis. please don't tell me if you knew you about it, you shouldn't have given the exam...no point crying over spilt milk. |
i agree with u man...u cant get into scamjet without a solid approach.!:ok:

I got the invite without any influence, so did many others. So I dont know whats your point. Anyone who got the invite would have taken the exam. My point was very clearly specified in that line. |
submitted my resume in person. sent one to Mahantesh by email. it took me 8 months to finally get that call for the exam. yes, I thought was fortunate enough to get invited. Little did I know this is how it works. I will never apply for it again. thanks for the tip johny boy.

Sad to hear that Robin, you should apply in future.

Dates
Good Day
Does anyone know around what dates Spice is expected to start or started their Q400 service? Secondly; how many Q4's they operate or plan to operate? Thanks alot |
I reckon SpiceJet has nearly 7-8 Q400s operating at the moment. The order was for 30 Q400s. If I'm not mistaken, the first 15 would be delivered by September 2012 (if all goes well for the airline). I have no clue about the remaining 15.
|
When is training starting ?
When is ground school starting for non type rated guys ? R da appointments done ? How many guys got selected any idea ?

@cactus
your talking about second chances how about we get a first chance mate.
|
Second chance cause I didnt get the first chance either. ( no call for the interview )
But then we all applied, so its a missed chance if u ask me. Never mind that, lets talk about info.. |
Any idea when the next exam for SpiceJet is ?
Last time, it was held right after the CAE-IndiGo assessment (which, this time, is on 16 and 17 April,2012). |
spice jet vacancies
hi guys any one know when is the spice jet next exam..........
|
there is no recruitment till atleast next 6 months at Spice for pilots whther Captains or Copilots.
....from a reliable source. good luck to all.:ok: |
How many guys got selected ? Has the training started ? Jus wanna know coz lot Kfa pilots joined Spicejet
|
17 gt selected from written...
|
cannot confirm but heard 33-35 KF pilots taken on 737 n Q400 together and so recruitment will be on standby for new joinees.
SpiceJet is starting more international routes very soon and so lots of pilots hired but apparently now positions full . |
most of the KF pilots hired were commanders or senior F/O's with ATPL's.
|
I heard that Spicejet didn't hire any trainee pilots n put them on hold, as there vacancies r filled by Kfa pilots
|
Ooops..
Didnt the KF guys start getting paid again?
Who told you guys about that? can anyone confirm these rumors? KF is about to bounce back in the coming years you know.. (Inside Info) So what does SpiceJet have in mind for the fresher Pilots? Hold for how long? Wonder if the backdoor entries are still on...:suspect: Wonder what its gonna take to get a job these days huh?:E  :ugh:  I am sooooo hopeful about beloved Spice... |
Commander from Spicejet
|
Spicejet Did it agian
Selected Candidates from last exam held few weeks ago have started getting call from spicejet Now spice is asking for 27 lacs for Q400 training.Out of 27= 15 lac in drafts + 12lac of security checks. 12 lac will be deducted from candidate salary.
What's wrong with spice they are working like Pirates they can ask for any amount of money & you have no option either you take or leave it.First you pay for CPL(25 lacs),Getting(jugaad money) into airline(20 lacs), Then airlines ask for money (25 lacs)= 70 lacs & i'm not calculating 25,000/- for exam fees,DGCA classes,RTR exam in different cities,Loads of books u have to buy etc. etc. So it will take minimum of 6years to recover it... What the F*** is happening.. :ugh::ugh::ugh::ugh: |
wtf???
hey sweptair..
whats your source??? who said that??? no CPL holder has got that kind of money yar...:ugh: |
@ sweptair
Sweptair is providing wrong info as my friend cleared his interview and he is told to wait for a week , they haven't appointed anyone jus providing wrong info. Jus spoke to my frnd after reading sweptair post.

sorry cactus
sorry cactus on hammering your hopes on Kingfisher Airlines. Please understand the simple logic and use your common sense.
Loans from Banks : 7000 crores Loans from Venture Capitalists : 4500 crores Interests Pending : 1700 crores Taxes Pending : 300 crores AAI charges : 89 crores IATA bills,Employees salaries, maintenance's bills, Lease bills, Term loan interests all pending as of now other than the above. with 64 Aircraft's they couldn't meet their expenses, Now the operational aircraft's has been reduced to 16..............!!!! ( Income decreased to 1/4th) So the Income has been reduced to 25 %....!!! Expenses remains the same. The interests & EMIs on Loans , All other charges remains the same. Yes they can reduce 75% of their staffs but it only attributes to 4 % of their expense. The Airline will run for few months , Mr mallya wants to make few bugs before shutting down without paying anything like Mr Thyagarajan Did with paramount on his last few months. Regards ............. |
@ blackbirdsr72
Dont you think that the 49% FDI approval would help turn things? KF itself pushed for it. That could well happen tomorrow.. I heard British Airways is all willing to pump in money for KF. I see that KF is managing those 16 aircraft with complete honesty here. All flights are on time, fares at an all time low. Full loads too. Agreed that its not turning profits with such a small fleet, but they are atleast proving themselves to be reliable with it and they can develop on that instead of folding in. I agree that Mr Mallya might be in it for a short time now. However, I do think that the airline would see better management and a wee bit of change of fortunes soon. As soon as that happens, hopefully someone might just buy that airline and save us some jobs. No airline made any money in recent years. (Ex. Indigo). Even Jet didnt. But Jet survived the aviation depression of the late 90s.. made profits after that.. Just wishing Dear Mr Mallya doesnt give up so soon. Aviation is all about ups and downs right. And aint getting any worse..(pray) So its just plain pitiful if one loses money when down and isnt around to see the profits when things are up. Regards, Cactus. |
Hi cactus
Hi cactus
Yes definitely the 49% FDI will boost the sector. But the Issue is Indigo & Jet Airways have already substantial foreign ownership. Then Regarding the Kingfisher I dont think investors will be keen on putting their money into debt ridden carrier where in the accumulated debt is around 8000 crores & cumulative losses is around 7000 crores. It will never tally as far as a potential Investor is concerned. So far the Total Accumulated debts by all indian carriers is over 80000 crores & Cumulative losses is more than 43000 crores creating certain backfoots for Investors in this sector. Also security concerns obstruct Middle East & Chinese airlines from Investing in India leaving only European & American carriers on the run which is far likely not to happen in near future. This Move will definitely help Go Air, Spice jet & New Airlines who are planning to launch their operations. Only Air Costa & .............. Airways are the only 2 companies who will launch their operations in the next 6-8 months. As far as theMinistry of civil Aviation is concerned no more Application will be entertained for the Scheduled Airline Category since 5 out of 7 NOC holders have dropped their Projects. So I believe the FDI will boost the sector but its too late. Regards ............ |
@ Indian_av8r
