Follow the DGCA syllabus for any airline written test in India. Know it all. Prepare well and go for the exam. Regarding the number of questions, I assume it will be around 50, considering the duration of the exam being only one and a half hours.

Aviation/ Jeppesen cal are not allowed
Hi guys i have a silly question to ask. In the admit they have mentioned that Aviation calculators are not allowed, does that include E6B flight computer also or just CX2
|
I forgot to ask them, but are scientific calculators allowed?
|
I Doubt for both :=
|
Just got my CPL. I'm planning on sending my resume to spice jet and jet airways. How do I go about it? Do I e-mail it or post it? and to whom?
I've filled the online application for Indigo...what next? Would be glad for replies. :confused: |
hi Jibu
thanks for sharing info about the exam. Just wanted to know if they had asked more of technical stuff and if yes then was it on CPL level or from any specific aircraft?:rolleyes: |
Hi friends
Let me just clear one thing no scientific calculator and no any flight computer it will be a total waste to carry them. look maths and physics were easy but the technical and radio aids were weird all went above the head. |

St-Elmo : good heavens! Are you sure those questions were asked for the non type-rated pilots exam? They look completely out of answers for an entry-level pilot.
|
@smurf84...
dude your post amuses me. These are general CPL level questions. I wonder how you cleared you Indian CPL exams.:ugh::ugh: I am sure you will S**T in your pants if you get to see the questions asked in CAE-IndiGo exam. anyways goodluck!!! |
Wow smurf!
|
smurf84 is just 21 old ;) ...
Peace |
Sperry - Fellow earthling, I'm sure we all went past 21 or were 21 at one point of time. :)
Aviator4u - Indeed, I'm surprised how I cleared my DGCA exams. To be specific about that post, I never came across the spools of a jet engine for the DGCA conversion exam. I think we all got the same syllabus, didn't we? :) Maybe you were born with an eye for 'spools of a jet engine'. Good for you. But I wasn't. :sad: |
Smurf you are right its not what DGCA asks..and if you ask me the DGCA standard is higher than FAA and TC when it comes to getting your 200 hr CPL licence.
But bear in mind that you are applying for a job which people with 1500 hrs can only dream of in most parts of the world and in getting to that figure they learn a lot more..which we havent and therefore have to study to make up for the exprience. We are applying for a job which involves flying turbofans and turboprops so we need to know how they work. If you were applying for a piston engine light weight aircraft you could get by with the DGCA knowledge. Plus there are 5000 of us 200/250 hr pilots and the companies can afford to pick only the best so we all need to raise our game. Regarding CAE/Indigo, they officially ask from JAA ATPL syllabus..i repeat ATPL..so smurf to be honest everyone who takes that exam ****s their pants. Cheers and all the best :ok: PS: to everyone else, Why this Kolaveri Di?? |
this post is to help each other and share some info so, will both of you stop fighting and behave like grown up and not a KG boys fighting over the non-sense
