It is posted at Fly Gosh: Direct entry FO/Capt - A330, A320, ATR and Cabin Crew - Cebu Pacific

cyrilroy21 2nd Jul 2013 17:14

@Capt Morrgan

I got it from the Cebu Pacific air Facebook page :)

Stewsan 3rd Jul 2013 03:56

Remember, that is what they would like the pilot to have, not necessarily what they'll get with the extremely poor terms and conditions.

Rumor has it that Mr.Bean is no longer on the scene. Hopefully this will mean a change for the better for the guys.

Cebu walk in interview

Guys anyone going there from Europe?
I would give it a try being myself in the area those days.
Do you confirm its a walk in format without registration?

Thanks a lot:ok:

Stewsan 3rd Jul 2013 06:44

In the past its been walk in an I haven't heard anything else. Wear a smile and be positive.

eaglesnest1972 3rd Jul 2013 06:53

Thanks mate!
Are you around?

:ok:

Chiao 4th Jul 2013 02:46

Thank you for the information,I will try that.

Stewsan 4th Jul 2013 10:01

I'm still around the area. If you're going to be in this area, it's worthwhile to at least stop by and give it your best shot. I pushed a buddy to do that after they wouldn't answer his emails and he was hired that day. Good luck.

eaglesnest1972 4th Jul 2013 10:49

I will give it a try so i will be ther since the 11th.
Anyone fancy to get a beer with an italian colleague drop me a msg!

Good luck!

fernandeztv 4th Jul 2013 15:47

expats?

Before any non Filipinos apply for cebu pacific i would highly recommend if you get in touch with the management if they are even looking at expats in the first place. Just a few threads down this forum you can see where Air Asia Philippines conducting recruitment on behalf of Zest air turned down all expats ON THE DAY of the recruitment stating that it was for locals only. This after the expats were assured that they can attend the interviews...

On the other hand...Cebu Pacific had taken Expats on "local terms" in the past :p:E

eaglesnest1972 4th Jul 2013 16:04

Hi mate,

From the inside i heard that expat would be welcome....
On local contract of course:\

Well...lets wait and see...

Capt.Morrgan 4th Jul 2013 18:12

^ agreed, but for the zero to low hr TR folks I'd be cautious coz they have flip-flopped in the past on hiring expats

ONSHORTFINAL 5th Jul 2013 03:30

Be ready to go back home with empty hands unless you are local, obviously as it happened with the Airasia roadshow on june 10th they will let you come here, because is more fun in Philippines with plenty of promises, and then face the reality, NO EXPATS right now, they will keep you file for further recruitment and then you can enjoy some days off in Manila thanks to them.

Do not put too much expectations on any Philippine carrier, they are master of keeping you on stand by for ages, take it as a holiday trip, meet some locals girls and have fun, the positions are already taken before the roadshow, but bringing expats here its always a benefit for the country.

Contact management, send your resume and wait, they even make skype interviews, no need to waist a flight ticket to come.

eaglesnest1972 5th Jul 2013 09:32

Thanks for the heads up mate...

more or less same thing heard from a friend who currently flies for them (expat).

However, he suggested to take a chance anyway...

Big orders, poor terms and some other contingency issues could be an advantage in this very moment...

Once there i will let you know...

Worst case scenario...5 days in Manila drinking beer with local girls:E

Cheers...

lingdee 5th Jul 2013 12:30

Understand that you have to pay 60000 dollars for the rating

eaglesnest1972 5th Jul 2013 12:47

Rating of what?

I am rated and as far as i can read this interviews are for rated chaps...

60k for a rating is a robbery, anywhere and any case...

Hello all,
First of all, thank you for this topic, it is very interesting and all feedback are always nice to read.
I have been contacted by Cebu and I will have my skype interview on Tuesday.

I have read all posts on this topic in order to have more information about this interview, I think I have a better idea now but is it possible to have more details about this interview? (via PM or here?)
It will be my first interview for a pilot job, the stress is coming :)

Sorry, I forgot, my profil: JAA frozen ATPL, 340h TT, A320TR with 0 on type (only base training)

Thansk
Bye!

Fubaliera 6th Jul 2013 16:12

With all the latest bloops and blunders im sure they realised they need experienced expats.

airbus320fan 6th Jul 2013 17:15

July 13th!!

Hello ppl, could anyone kindly confirm wether expats are allowed to take part in the 13th interview? If yes should we wait for a reply from the company or try our luck on D-Day??

ElAl 6th Jul 2013 23:01

seasunandfly Congrats!

How did you apply? for which position?

thanks

IXUXU 7th Jul 2013 05:13

Fubaliera

I´m pretty sure they have experienced pilots in their ranks. What they need is well rested pilots.

Fubaliera 7th Jul 2013 06:13

Cebu Pacific did the same in 2011 after there incident in Puerto Princesa, all of a sudden they brought expats on 1 year contracts, same will happen now.

Fubaliera 7th Jul 2013 10:09

Open House

Cebu is gonna have a open house for pilots July 13 at the salem complex domestic road pasay city.

seasunandfly 7th Jul 2013 19:39

ElAl: Thanks, I have applied long times ago via the webiste (any many times) and I have sent my resume via contractair, Ifly jobs, ...So I don't really know how they received my application.

kwaiyai 8th Jul 2013 03:49

captainjoy 8th Jul 2013 07:46

Cebu

Hi
Do You know what they pay a-320 expat Captains there?
You mentioned they terminated all expats last December, is that correct?
Have they gotten any better, or still a crappy company to work for?
What about taxes after 6 months?
Thanks for info
