ValuJet start up
Ive read that one of the former managers of SIA is about to start up a Low Cost airline named Valuejet operating A320s early next year.
Anyone has more information on this project and if any recruitment process will be taking place in the near future...thank you....

Firstly, they're Valuair ... better get that right if you're going to talk to them or you'll be minus some points before you get any further.
I know they're right now looking for a couple of A320 family rated pilots. Preferably with previous instructional experience, and of course avaliable as of 'right now'
You can mail them directly, Understand from news reports that a Arthur Lim is looking after the operations.

There are plenty of rated 320 drivers next door at "Sickair"! Can't really see Valueair becoming successful other then driving crew wages down. If the pilot's pay gets any lower in SIN there might be a reverse migration over the border to MAS or Airasia, (living cost are much lower in KUL).
It is always laughable to see the SIN government backing its big business in a suppose free market economy. CX operates in a similiar business atmosphere and yet it is able to turn a profit despite having a much higher crew cost, also it is not afraid to report a quarterly loss.

how to re-assign
Value indeed..
This is how it is done: Sack people.. and Reassign them ..and
Cut the pay by 50% ..and re-employ them ..and make them
gracious for the new job..
only in singapore
