Kartika Airlines
Anyone heard of an outfit in Indonesia called Kartika Airlines? I think that they operate 737's out of JKT.
Thanks a lot for any help.

Kartika Airlines did operate 2 737-200s (PK-KAR and PK-KAS), but now only operates 1 737 (KAR).
They fly CGK-SUB-UJP-AMQ (ambon is not a nice place to fly into).
It is owned by the Army's "Officers welfare foundation"
It has surplus pilots, bad management, heaps of corruption, and have not paid their leases to Transmile (about 2.5 m USD was the last estimate).
The chairman wants to takeover the airline by making it literally bankrupt, the shareholders just keep getting conned.
They still "owe" me about USD2000.
The crew are great though, friendly, energetic. Pity the management has none of that. Watch the smelly front toilet on -KAR. The left engine takes about 1 - 3 seconds longer to spool up to take off power than the right (makes reversers interesting).
Currently under review for restructuring and is under threat of having it's AoC revoked if it cannot find another plane to fly.
PK-KAR
