Flight Training in India

Can anyone give me information/resources about flight training in India, costs, procedures etc. Also, if possible where could I get a broad overview of the aviation market in India and in South East Asia in general.

In india

Hi there , hope this helps. If ure looking to train in India for the purpose of securing an airline job , then dont go anywhere else the IGRUA in lucknow. Its very simple , as the training may take anywhere from one to two years , but the key point is that when Air India and Indian Airlines call for pilots , they have a reserved quota for people from IGRUA.So it would be wise to do it there.
If you are looking a just doing something like this for a hobby , try the Orient Flight School at pondy.I am unsure of the prices , but i can give u contact details if u email me .
