I'm looking for information on Xiamen's selection process, how long the process usually takes and working conditions once online.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Avoid, avoid, avoid!
Ask Caotains who left for HNA why they left this Nazi's of the east, nothing but a subsidiary of China Eastern, but Xiamen as a city to live a rather pleasant location. I would exchange any job with the HNA group for Xiamen, better hotels, but same old crap with traumatizing Chinese regimental arseholes telling you to shine your shoes, and wear your uniform hat, all in the interest if making $323000 a year flying domestic.

I too am considering applying but have little information about the job.
IZAD , I don't mind a bit of 'regimental ' kind of control from above. I've worked in SE Asia before and if it's just a bit of "yes sir no sir , I'l do better with my shoes next time sir" it doesn't bother me. It just feels like a bit of a game to me. Are you talking about something more annoying than that?
Does anyone reading this live at Xiamen Straights International community?
From what I can see on the net you can rent a nice place the for $3000 USD a month.
How long is the commute to the airport from there?
Any info on duty hours and rosters would be appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Framer

Xiamen offer many different packages (560 to 900 hrs) - from resident contract to 2 months on 2 months off. Obviously the pay varies accordingly with resident contract paying the most (= possibly the best paid job in China atm???). Monthly housing allowance, travel allowance, decent overtime pay up to $300 per hr. Quite a good gig.
