WEST AIR CHINA
Looks like a new contract out with Risworth for West Air on lower T&C than before.
Does anyone know more, are they serious?
They along with Tianjin are prob worst 2 company's in China. At least Tianjin pay well.

Wa don't want more 15/15 only longer contarct
so they drop paycheck
also work into days off
all training and sim IN OFF TIME
all pilots pissed off .....
many will not renew contarct as beter offer with no early start, late finish in beter place than CKG
they are mad or stupd .... maybe both

NEW CONTRACT
NEW CONTRACT IS OUT
They has lower terms 50% option and no longer allow month/month
also have to fly over 800 hours in year befire pay overtime on 50% contract
all pilot not happy and many looking to leave
TIANJIN looks better that WEST AIR
Lots of layover. 2 star hotel, early start, late finish, all training in off time
NOT FOR FOREIGN PILOTS ANYMORE

Friend just sent me details of the new contract
The 15/15 is not a 15/15. They want 3 weeks in Feb Jul and Aug without any extra money!!! WTF
On top of that they have decided that overtime is now based on YEARLY HOURS, so not even gonna get overtime, as they want 804 hours with 15 days a week. PMSL
MUCH BETTER DEALS IN OTHER PLACES, BETTER COMPANIES IN CHINA
STAY AWAY FROM WEST AIR

now telling pilots to come back early to do medical or they wont pay him
new contract training can be done in own time
say min of 15 day for visa ut you only work 15
we are all early start and late finish
expect medical at 8am after 5am finish

West Air makes a mess
The company has a bad attitude and promises things that they will not come through with. Instructors are not released even though they have been working as such for years for this company. That's bad attitude not paying the captains for the work they do. Flights are often delayed. Administration sucks as the HR and other fractions off the company knows **** and ***** up everything. And even when they make a mistake they will do it the Asian way......lies you straight into your face even if you can prove them wrong.
I will not resign new contract. 3 years will be enough. I can not stand this amateur company. In fact it is a GA company with big jets.
Stay away and do not go to West Air if you are smart and listen to folks that have been through the bucket off **** they serve you

Differt agency offering differt contractUFENG offer $12,500 other offer different NOONE knows what the contract isPilots startimg to leave, no one renew contract nowIf you have a family you will never see then as you will tour all time. school fees in CKg $3000 for a kid a month!LOOK GUYScaptal offer $13,500 a month for 45 hoursWA $13,500 for 67 hoursWA will lie to you, expect you to do all trining in your rest period. when admin screw up your medical or visa they will not pay youmy contract less than a year to run ....adios amigonew fleet manager 'PUTA DIABLO'

sumkin; I take it your an agent from your other posts and so not to tell truth!in last month 2 foregn pilots leave everyone else not want to staycrew apartment now removed and WA offer no house allowancetraing in days off, early start, long days, late finish, sub hotelall other china airline now offer better terms ; capital, Qingdao, gullin, gx, Chengduwa air base salary is it, and want 67 hour per month on 15 dayother want 45 or 50 then overtimedo the figures, go elsehwrealso ignore all rules on rest period and don't care

Cofirmed WA will not provide accomodation anymore so put that also in your numbers.Try to find a non stincky place to live in ckg,prepare your wallet.Zero help from HR,you are on your own in this non friendly place for foreigners.Expect medical check EVERY DAY you report for duty (blood press,heart rate,alcohol check,questionaries etc).Only chinese carrier putting this crap into their pilots.(only laoweis,chinese no need to do it).Even if you are a healthy guy do not worry,chinese doctors will find you something wrong...people with normal blood press through all their lifes now failing it because of the increasing paranoia of doctors.If it was not enough all the crazyness of chinese caac medicals beware that some smart guy in wa has decided to put this extra pressure on foreign captains every day,so now your salary is on the loop everytime you put the damm bracelet.Advice,any other airline don't put you through this,so up to you.Residence permit which can be done in one day in other places in china expect 3 weeks here.Previously foreigners that left were fired,now for first time people just leaving for better options.
