You think there are training issues now just look at the numbers these carriers have in order....

LionAir- 464 aircraft
AirAsia- 341 aircraft

It won't be long these backdoor ops will be some of the largest carriers on earth. I was hoping the Australians were going to ban one of the above carriers after its last disaster, should have happened because they have improved nothing since the event. Too many politics involved for that to happen though....

Just look at the Indonesian culture on safety as a whole! When I was in Jakarta I saw a man hanging outside the window of skyscraper cleaning the windows with no safety equipment! When I asked about it other Indonesians laughed and said "If he does not work he won't get paid".

The sad part about Lion Air is that they have limitless amount of money and could be a very good airline, but they decide to keep things the same because thats how they have always done it.

Thumbs down The worst company and dangerous company in the world

LIONAIR , ITīS really really scary. The manager play all time with the passengers life. I dont recommend to anyone, even for captaincy you will be forced to take off to airports below minimums etc etc etc

You will be a poor captain if you give into company pressure especially when something like that is clearly against the law.
