Now a days usage of air ambulance services are increased. Because of the reason is, you can reach the places like hills and very long travel through only air ambulance. With help of road ambulance services is not possible to reach hills and water places under any medical emergency. So air ambulance services is important in now a days. Not sure what you're implying but some of the largest operators for the Air Ambulance in India are actually :-
1. Air Charter Services (3 Pilatus + 2 C90 + 1 Jet)
2. Saraya Aviation (Fleet of C90s)
Of the above I believe Air Charter Services does most of the airlifts.
