A320
Please note the next A320 program for JAA / EASA A320 type rated pilots is now finalized. As required by our partner airline, pilots complete an extensive A320 Airline Transition Training including 36 hours A320 FTD and 36 hours A320 FFS with the partner airline they will on line with. Our partner airline is a reputable and established airline with high training standards.
Start Date:
Early January 2014
Base:
Nearby Europe with most flights into the European airspace and major western European airports
Program Price:
€63,500 EUR for the A320 Airline Transition Training including 36 hours A320 FTD and 36 hours A320 FFS, Airline Operator Conversion Course and 300 Hours as an A320 First Officer during scheduled passenger operations (no option to extend to more hours)
Requirements:
In my personal opinion and I DO NOT work for eaglejet or in any of their LT program, you just have to chose the right and credible agents.
Otherwise, you can kiss your money goodbye which is what this thread been discussing.

TheBigD: I'm not trying to be smarter than the system. What would you do if you apply thousands of applications and you get zero response? I'm not having a full money in my bank account to give away free for agents to screw me. I sort of believed their program because they have mentioned a huge and reputable airline names for recruitment. Then I got shocked when I faced the reality.
With that being said, your first mistake was sending out "thousands" of applications. No offense, but as a 250 TT wonder, sending out applications will not work. If you were an experienced guy, that is a different story. But you my friend, have to make it happen. By that I mean knocking on doors; and physically showing up and making contacts. This will not guarantee you a job; but at least it puts a name to a resume, so when the CP is looking for someone, he will remember the guy that took the time to come out and came knocking on the door. I'm talking about a CP with a small TP operator or a bush company or the sorts. At this point, with your experience my friend, you have no business being in the RHS of an Airbus or Boeing; that is not an entry level job.
Hopefully, you can sort out this mess with the P2F provider. I don't know if you can pursue legal action against them or not. It seems that you are somewhat afraid to do so, because it seems they are still dangling the proverbial carrot with the promise and enticement of a potential job. I say f***k them, take them to court, get what is owed to you - YOUR HARD EARNED $$$$. And if nothing else, you can at least get some self satisfaction that you just didn't lay around and take their BS.
And to all of those reading and contempletaing p2f schemes, please take note.

@TheBigD
Due to lack of variety of airlines in the country I don't have many options to knock any ones door but perhaps I could visit the neighborhood airlines and knock their door. Your advice is simple but very efficient so thanks for that
Meanwhile I should be focusing more to solve this problem as well.

Look; this way they have a face to the resume if nothing else. However, with your time and experience you should not be targeting airlines. Look at perhaps small corporate TP departments, single engine piston operators etc. Repeat after me, slowly : with 250 hours, the RHS of an Airbus or Boeing is not an entry level pilot job.....I think you will have more luck if you lower your standards and start by trying to figure out how to get a SEP job somewhere......

Bigd.u seems to have some issues cpl 200 hour direct to jets.
Bear in mind that fresh pilots in giant airline like emirates,Singapore airlines and cathay pacific go direct to wide body n not even 737 or 320.

Lingdee:,
Seems you find it normal. You are now probably waiting for a 200 hr. Total time command.
If you would have any axperience flying planes, no matter what size, in all weather, you would not post this.

@lingdee i don't think its just bigd who has issues, i am sure majority of pilots apart from p2f schemers do as well.
correct me if i am wrong, but don't the cadets who are trained by the big airlines start off as second officers??
and the cadet scheme is solely aimed at the nationals, now looking at UAE and Singapore i don't think they have many se operator or even heavy turbo hence why they go into jets

P2F Scheme
Eva airlines in Taiwan train their cadets in USA then call them back to Taiwan after CPL ME IR and put them directly into a B777 or A330 sim. Same for china, HK, most of Asian and ME airlines and now a days even LAN chile is doing the same

P2F Scheme
No problem at all. I am from "there" and did get my first break on a A320 family after about 260 hours TT. Point is that it's not impossible to get an airbus or boeing you're first job

P2Fers... The miscreants of the industry!
Definitely not worthy to dine with the adults!
No way to justify their existence. My mission is to correspond with DOs and CPs of every carrier to convince them to hire those who worked their way up the ranks through legitimate means. Turn the spoiled lot away on their arses to gain required experience as their honest counterparts did.

loveflyingalways, congrats on direct to airbus. You took the opportunity and not many people understand that opportunity don't always knock on door.
also bear in mind in asia there are not many GA around , but too many it seems as to jump que direct to jets. do you research before you start posting.
also those who do bush flying, instructing and so on it's not because they want to work hard, it's because there were no airline jobs " on that time ". Are you telling me if they had a choice between GA and airline, they will reject the airline just because they want to build experience since flying jets is not ready for them?
Those who have jobs hate p2f because they worried about the t and c , they could not care and bothered with the thousands of jobless people who are trying to find their first break. if you have a cpl now ( those who are already flying ), will you not do the same, if you have the financial means of course.
an earlier thread shows so many success stories about whats next for lion air pilots.
remember, when everybody were screaming a scam and called them idiots, they took the risk and grab the opportunity. now they have move to major airlines while those who are complaining still end up jobless till this day.
after indonesia, singapore now is the biggest pay to fly market training people who fork out hundreds of thousands with no salary to get into tiger, jetstar, qatar and to certain extend flyscoot. if a first world nation is doing this to save cost, the rest of you who complain is dreaming to hope one day p2f will be gone.
air asia india, despite being a big name in the aviation industry expect us to pay for everything including the type rating. i guess no more free lunch.the trend now is nothing but pay pay and pay. take it or leave it
my point is simple, for those who are jobless, if there are any opportunity ( not scam) ,go for it. after all, beggars are not choosers . if we don't grab the opportunity, other guy will do it.

P2F Scheme
I am not against P2F at all and I know people too who went to lion and citilink for line training and then moved on to long/short term contract with other LCCs in asia.
My point was simply that it's very common in asia for low timers to get their first break directly into an Airbus or Boeing again agreeing with you when you said since there are not many GA operators in asia especially South Asia.

@loveflying if you passed the sim check and interview cant fault you, but again the big companies seldom put even their own cadets straight into 1st officer. They all fly as 2nd officer.
@lingdee you can clear this up for me, in india isnt the 1st officer pnf till he reaches a certain number of hours?
and mate have you been reading this soo called threads about sucess stories of p2f pilots from lion.
yes a few got a job, then there was a huge rejection for the rest of them, instructors have posted here saying they wont take lion pilots anymore. which is a shame because i am sure there are some piots who are very good and deserve better,,
and when people say you shouldnt be on a jet with 250 hours they dnt mean just do ga flights. in india there is stll a fair few heavy turbo props try your luck there.
when you start off learn how to control the ac, fly into and land at aerodromes with 1300 mts, land with more than 15 kt xwnd. enjoy flying
there is plenty of time to go into jets esp if you are just starting off
