For one I do agree with Apache. Demented is the wrong word to use for the employees.
Now the word STUPID, on the other hand does come to mind and may be more appropriate for this situation.
Bear in mind Ejector... calling anyone stupid for trusting VJM's word over the past year, and working for KFA for free is an insult to those poor dumb ba$tards who are just plain stupid.
That's just my own opinion.

The Hinduja brothers converted four Grade 1 listed buildings into one divided palatial 50-room home in Carlton Terrace. This one used to belong to King George IV. Clearly, Indians are the new monarchs.

Money can't buy good taste.
But the richest man in Britain is.... an Indian.
Mumbai: Pilots of Kingfisher Airlines Ltd said on Thursday that they would approach the aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to intervene if management doesnt pay them their pending salary for May by the end of this month. The grounded airline hasnt paid the May salary to half its employees.
In a letter to chief executive officer Sanjay Aggarwal, pilots recalled that they had been promised that they would be paid their May salary before Diwali, which fell on 13 November.
However, most of us are still waiting for the same in-spite of two weeks having past beyond the promised deadline, said the letter, a copy of which was seen by Mint.

Okay, I don't mean to hurt your SELF ESTEEM, but inspite of giving a web link you have still got it wrong.
L N Mittal(not Hinduja), the richest man in Britain, had nothing to do with Bofors.
Oh God !

The regulator DGCA canīt do anything about the salaries at the moment, it seems:

Labour court?

Meanwhile, a highly-placed DGCA official told PTI, "Payment of salary is an internal issue which the management and employees will have to sort out among themselves. Our concern is safety and we have already temporarily suspended the airline's flying license on this count."
The official, however, said that these issues will definitely be taken into consideration when the airline submits its revival plan.
"The employees should approach the appropriate authorities such as labour court or any other such institution to get the issue resolved," he added.

I'm sure a direct line can be drawn between safety and pay ! Even the most proffesional of crews would be under mental stress trying to deal with paying the bills with no income . If management are not paying salaries then what else have they stopped spending money on .
Any incident or accident and a good lawyer would tear the DGCA apart over this !

Kingfisher Employees
Yes Kingfisher is in a state of lock down and yes the employees have not been paid in a while now.
There are a few employees who still believe and hope that the airline will start operating again but most of the people there are still there because they haven been able to find a job anywhere else. None of the Indian Carriers are hiring and even the middle east carriers have slowed down recruitment till mid next year.
Everyone is just waiting for a job to come their way so that they can just jump outta KFA. I am talking mainly about the pilot community.

Just file against the man for breach of contract. Take him straight to court for non payment of salary
Is the judicial system there so corrupt that you cannot seek justice?

I Agree its been said many times before that an Angel investor will be coming .
The local news media seems to be pretty confident this time . Kingfisher stocks jumped 4-5% today
Anyway as they say we'll find out if its true or not on the 18th of December
Here is another link that was published today
