Nothing dumb about it.

Lot of things in our country are not as straight forward as it should be. Its better to ask people who know facts than to assume.

spoolkick

DGCA has strange ways of operating. During my days of license conversion, they rejected IR applications on SE if you had only an MEIR. At the same time, I've seen people get away with SEIR endorsement without actually having one.

My advise to you would be, go to DGCA office and ask the licensing officer in person. On the contrary if you go and do something without consulting the DGCA, they'll make you do things which will take you through hell and fire. And you can trust me on that.

Hope this helps.

Nick
