Air Asia and DEC

Hi all,

Heard some rumours that AA has stopped the DEC scheme indefinitely.

Any truth of this?

It's true.

It's has been more than 6 years since the first of their cadet pilots started. Time to upgrade them.

Yes it is true for the moment at least. At least 150 + SFO's waiting for there upgrade. Also not much expansion until the new terminal is done. No more space to park new aircraft at the old one.
AAX expanding next year with more 330's coming.
But as I said with all the FO's ready for upgrade it could be a while for DEC's again.
